This hat is as beautiful with the buffalo plaid and hearts. It is warm and soft perfect for chilly weather. This will be your new favorite winter hat.

This hat is convertible and can be worn like a normal hat, open part way for wearing with a pony tail or a bun, or open completely and wear as a cowl neck scarf.

This hat calls for worsted weight yarn and either an I or a J hook depending on gauge.

Color A Brim color – I Love This Yarn - Ivory Tweed - 220 – 280 yds.
Color B Dark color - I Love This Yarn – Black – 40 -60 yds
Color C Medium color - I Love This Yarn – Aubergine 50 – 80 yds
Color D Light color - I Love This Yarn -Red – 85-100 yds.

Other versions of this hat are available:
The first one calls for chunky/ bulky 5 weight yarn, but is more lacy.

There are also some that I called “Warmer” because they were not as lacy and would be better suited for very cold climates.

The first one calls for a worsted (4) weight yarn and can be found at:

The second one calls for Bulky/Chunky (5) weight yarn.

The third one calls for light worsted (3) weight yarn:

The fourth one calls for Super Bulky(6) weight yarn:
