Fuggle’s Critmas Dice Bag
A very simple, highly customisable treasure bag, to be used for dice or other treasures. I’ve gifted all my hand knitted socks in these this year and have one for my backpack for my face mask. Nifty.

A gift from one critter to another, perfect for Critmas. Inspired by the need to whip up a gift VERY quickly. This can be knitted using any yarn you like, we’re holding three strands of yarn together here, but you could use anything you’re comfortable knitting with 4mm needles…of course you can change that too! Cast on is with a crochet hook, it gives a lovely texture, a little extra weight and BONUS saves our wrists on those tiny circumferences.

Who’s Fuggle you ask? Fuggle is a Halfling, a short, but stout Halfling. Fuggle has medium brown hair, quite the beard and is particularly good at hiding. You can find Fuggle living in the woods with his brewing supplies, at the foot of the Highland mountains of his homeland. Fuggle is partial to a good Ale in the local Tavern, preferably in the company of his adventuring friends. If you should come across Fuggle, you’ll certainly notice, he’s always got his pouch of hops at his side.

Recommended yarn:
Hold 3 of your fingering weight yarns together, use stash, advent minis, minis, scraps!

Yardage:
Main colour: Holding three strands together, without a tie
32 (42) 56 g / 117 (154) 205 m / 128 (168) 224 yds
Allow 1.5g for a tie (0.5g of each colour)
Yardage is estimated, however you could probably get a small bag from 3 10g minis! Yardage may vary depending on yarn choice, gauge variations or modifications.

Recommended needles:
4 mm US 6 DPNs or cable circular needles in suitable length for your preferred method of working short circumferences in the round. e.g. 60 cm / 24 inch cable for magic loop.

Optional: 4 mm US 6 40 cm / 16 inch cable circular needles or suitable length for your preferred method of working small circumference in the round.

Gauge:
5.5 sts and 8 rows over 1 inch by 1 inch / 2.5 cm by 2.5 cm in stockinette.

Notions:
4 mm US G-6 crochet hook, Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle to weave in ends.
