Fuji Bag by Suzanne Strachan

Fuji Bag

This pattern is available from sarisilk.co.uk for £3.00.

The body of the purse is knitted in Sari Silk yarn weaving Kohinoor yarn through the stitches to create the spotted look. It is knitted in the shape of diamond. The sides of the bag are knitted by picking up the sides of the diamond and knitted using short rows technique. The triangular feature at brim of the bag is in Kohinoor silk. These triangles are gradually more pointed on the sides.
The bag should be lined to maintain the shape.

The Fuji name given as the shape somewhat reminds one of a volcanic mountain.
