The Full Heart Hat, named for its heart-shaped ribbed cables, is the hat that you’ll reach for every day to keep you warm in style. This timeless pairing of plump cables and plush ribbing appears best with a solid or mostly-solid colorway. Choose a size approximately 1-3” smaller than your actual head circumference.

The hat was designed to be worn with the brim flat, but the hat also includes a bit of extra height if you’d like to fold up the brim!

This unisex hat is worked in one piece in the round from the brim upward. Mini Empire from Jill Draper Makes Stuff, a round and bouncy Rambouillet yarn, brings the cables and ribbing to life, but any aran-weight yarn will work nicely. The adult size is shown with about 3” of negative ease.

Please note: you’ll need approximately 25-45 extra yards for the optional pom-pom, depending on its size and the weight of the yarn used.
