This pattern is a very quick make for a basic heart shape with a pointy peak. It is a beginner-friendly project and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Using size US 8 (5mm) needles produces a heart that is about 2.5” high. However, any size needles can be used, so long as the size is appropriate for your selected yarn.

The instructions are only for the knitted portion, not the embroidered embellishment. If you’d like to apply some embroidered detail, I recommend using a small embroidery needle and cotton crochet cord for lace, as it makes for good line weight.
