The Fullerton Vest features a deep rib and what looks like a fussy colorwork pattern, that is actually a simple dip-stitch technique that lets the boucle or other fluffy fiber shine! The vest is constructed from the bottom up and worked seamlessly in the round until the armholes. The front and back are worked separately flat, then joined at the shoulders with a three-needle bind off. Finally, stitches are picked up at the armholes and neckline and finished in rib with a clean, mitered-V.

Sizes: 1(2, 3, 4, 5) corresponding to a full bust measurement of 29 (36, 42, 48, 54) inches

Yarn Needed: The Fullerton Vest uses 2 fingering-weight yarns to create a squishy textured pattern. Color 1 is a smooth fingering-weight yarn. Color 2 is a fluffy yarn with a halo.

C1: 430 (430, 475, 500, 525) yards of heavy fingering-weight yarn
C2: 200 (218, 270, 320, 370) yards of fingering-weight boucle yarn

Sample 1 (black ribbing) was made with 1 skein of Hillesvag Vilje (C1) and 1 skein of La Bien Aimee Merino Boucle (C2)
Sample 2 (light ribbing) was made with 1 skein of Madeline Tosh Sock (C1) and 2 skeins of Ferme d’Almathe Volute (C2)

Suggested Needles:
US 2.5/ 3mm - for ribbing
US 6/ 4mm - for body pattern
Use a circular needle size smaller than the circumference of the finished garment to allow for working in the round.
