This pattern was inspired by the beautiful yarn I purchased from Lauren of Lolo Did It. Lauren created a “Helping Hippos” colorway to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The bright beautiful speckles took me back to summer days at the County Fair; lost in the commotion of people and rides, laughing and smiling until my face hurt.

The ends of this wrap are created to look like tents, and bobbles fill the body of the scarf to take you back to days filled with balloons and popcorn. The lace in the center adds a beautiful transition from the tonal hot pink to speckled gray.

Soft, easy to wear, and a gorgeous pop of color for the winter and spring ahead.

“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” ~ Dr. Seuss

Yarn: I used two skeins of Lolo Did it Plush Sock Yarn. One Speckled (Helping Hippos) and one Tonal (Material Girl). This makes for a really fun, vibrant piece. I encourage you to use any colors you like!

Size Options: This is a very flexible scarf. Add more increase rows to make it into more of a wrap. Add bobbles wherever you like. Increase the amount of Body Sets to make it longer. Decrease to make it shorter. With this pattern, the world is your oyster.

Gauge Information: Gauge was taken after blocking. If you hit gauge, bobbles should be 2 inches apart.
