This is designed to use up those “fashion” yarns. Use any weight yarn from fingering to bulky. It takes advantage of the characteristics of Boucle yarns. You can add fun fur, ribbon, single ply or a high twist. You control everything. Great for stash busting or finding a project for a difficult colorway.

The Brentwood Mills yarn that is used is labeled as 100% wool. Yet it looks like a slub yarn with thick and thin fibers and is packaged on a cone, with no given weight amount.

This utilizes a large needle which helps if you plan on using an acrylic yarn. The loose tension and double yarn overs produces a lace like structure and so blocking is not necessary. However, if natural animal fibers are used, a light block is a good idea.
