A stranded colourwork wrap inspired by the stunning mosaic pavements of Funchal.

Surprisingly simple and relaxing to knit, the moebius construction allows the wrap to be worn in several different ways.

Gauge
34 sts and 40 rounds to 4 ins / 10cm
Gauge is not crucial for this pattern though significant differences will affect the amounts of yarn required.

Yarn
CoopKnits Socks Yeah! 4 ply (75% wool; 25% nylon; 231 yards / 211 metres per 50g skein). 3 skeins of each of the following shades:
Ruby (A) and Danburite (B).

Needles and notions
Gauge-size 9 in / 40 cm circular needle.
Spare gauge size needle(s) for holding sts while grafting.
Waste yarn in contrasting shade (for provisional cast on).
Stitch marker. Tapestry needle.

Size
(after blocking) approx 48 ins 122 cm x 9 ins 23 cm
Size is easily adjusted to suit preferred length requirements, and available yarn.

Pattern notes
The wrap begins with a provisional cast-on, from which a long colourwork tube is then knitted, with dark and light shades reversed on either side. When the tube is blocked flat and twisted, and its open ends grafted together, a wearable moebius is created.
