This is a great way to use up bits of sock wool. They are knitted from the toe up in stripes then a fairisle band around the cuff. Instructions on calculating the size to knit are included in the pattern.
You will need approximately:

40gm of each of the black and white
10gm of the red, pink and yellow (maximum)
5gm of the aqua (maximum)
or the same quantities of replacement colours.
