I like to knit fingerless mitts because I can wear them and still type comfortably on the laptop.

And of course one needs neck warmers to match your pairs of mitts. The furry neck warmers make a fashionable addition to your cupboard. They are light and not bulky, so it’s a good idea to keep one in your handbag in case the weather turns a bit chilly.

Both patterns encourage me to use the yarn stash. So I consider them to be budget friendly.
