Future Swallowtail is a pet project I’ve decided to share as a pattern. It is inspired by the eastern black swallowtail caterpillar. Easy written instructions for the stranded pattern is knit entirely in the round. Construction includes a provisional cast on that is grafted to your final row for a seamless piece of fabric. I knit mine using 3 colors of Qing Fibre Merino Singles which is a fingering weight wool.
