Fuzzy Bunny
This Fuzzy Bunny is soft to the touch and perfect for snuggling. Due to the thickness and fuzziness of the recommended yarn, this pattern may be better suited for an intermediate or advanced crocheter who is comfortable working with more difficult yarn. However, this pattern can be made with any yarn or size crochet hook. This bunny is worked from the bottom up: the legs, body, and head are all made in one continuous piece while the arms and ears are made separately and then sewn on. BONUS: I provide instructions to add optional fabric accents on the ears and tummy for extra character and personalization-you will need to know how to hand sew/embroider the chain stitch. Helpful tips and photos are included throughout this pattern. Happy crafting!
You will need:
-137yds, Chenille or 6-super bulky weighted yarn
-49yds, Worsted or 4-medium weighted yarn (for pom-pom tail and ear/tummy accents)
-8mm crochet hook (used for super bulky yarn)
-4.5mm crochet hook (used for worsted yarn)
-14mm black safety eyes
-11mm black safety nose
-Poly-fil or fiber fill stuffing
-Yarn or tapestry needle
-Scissors
-Stitch markers (optional but very handy)
Optional
-Fabric, 7in x 7in (I used cotton flannel)
-Fabric glue (optional, to prevent edges of fabric from fraying)
-Fusible Interfacing (optional, can be used if your fabric is thin/lightweight to make less flimsy)
-Straight pins (optional, for holding fabric in place before sewing)
The finished bunny measures 13in x 8in x 3.5in
