Tried and true, Fuzzy Foot Socks are a comfy pair cherished by all. This great weekend project is the kind to make you or someone else feel all warm and fuzzy inside… and outside!

Sizes: This pattern is written in three sizes: small, medium and wide (foot circumference is approximately 7”, 9” and 11” after felting).

Yarn: 218 (300, 372) yds/200 (275, 340)m of a worsted weight yarn (held double). You will require half the amount above if using a chunky yarn, held single. Use 100% wool or a wool blend that will felt/shrink. Adding a strand of mohair to your base yarn will increase the fuzziness and durability of your slipper. A small amount of novelty yarn in the cuff adds fun too.

To make our Canadiana/HBC-inspired slippers we used River City Yarns’ Epic (double-stranded) in MC: Ivory (100), heel: Navy (400), stripes: Harvest (700), Royal Red (500) and Forest (600). We needed only one ball of the MC, even for the largest size.
