Symbolism
Gabriella’s Way was inspired by the beauty and spirit of our llama, Gabriella. Of Bolivian lineage, our miniature llama was rescued from a breeding farm to retire on the Hebner Farmette as a guardian of goats and chickens, as a gardener responsible for clearing unwanted vegetation, and as a fiber producer. She was equipped with a toothy smile, masterful spitting abilities and tenacity that helped her persevere no matter how difficult the weather was, how challenging intruders were, and how feisty her goat herd was at meal time.

Highlights
Knit in the round, Gabriella’s Way has several features:

  • double thick brim that is either knitted or lined with fleece for added warmth
  • Latvian braids for added texture and design
  • Colorwork using either two or three colors

This unisex hat is a great way to learn new techniques (Latvian braid) and to have fun with color.
