I originally designed these fingerless gloves for a friend who’d been diagnosed with carpal tunnel, because nerve pain in below-freezing weather is a beast. When the already multi-nicknamed friend tried on the finished product, he announced that he “felt like Gambit” from the X-Men comics, gaining the gloves and himself a new moniker.

The gauge is a little tighter than the ball band calls for, because it makes a firmer, warmer fabric. The pattern is currently available in a men’s size large. I will be adding more sizes as I get them written up and tested. There will also be a more feminine Rogue design coming soon, so stay tuned!

Make sure you’ve got some safety pins on hand if you’re going to try my trick with the finger stitches; if not, waste yarn works too.
