Game Day Cardigan
Customize your Game Day Cardigan as an ode to a favorite team. Pattern includes 28 color palette combination suggestions.
Cardigan is knit seamlessly from the top down. The back is worked first, from shoulder to underarm. Front shoulder stitches are then picked up along the back’s cast-on edge, eliminating a shoulder seam. Each front is shaped through the V-neck and armhole, then fronts and back are joined and worked as one down to the lower hem. A striped hem border finishes the bottom edge. Sleeves are picked up directly from the body, shaped with short rows, and worked in the round to a matching striped cuff. Striped button band and buttonholes are added last.
Designed to be worn with 2 in (5 cm) of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx 2 in (5 cm) larger in circumference than your bust measurement. Select a size that provides this amount of ease.
Many of my patterns are supported by video tutorials covering the techniques and skills used. All video tutorials are available on my YouTube channel.
