The finished blanket measures 80” X 68” and utilizes intarsia colorwork, cabling and very basic embroidering. There are only three stitch patterns used: stockinette (over the intarsia sections), a fabric stitch (also called a linen stitch) and a honeycomb-style cable. Please be aware that these sections all have different gauges. Also, the sections are very wide, so they are knit flat with circular needles, using at least a 32” cable.

All details regarding gauges and materials are provided in the instructions. Regarding yarn usage, there were a number of colors for which I had a lot of yarn left over (specifically: Bronze, Clay, Fern, True Grey and White ). If you have similar yarn on hand that could suitably replace these, you might want to do that.

Most of these instructions were created for my own use as a guide while I knit. I wasn’t really creating them with the idea that anyone else would ever read them, so there may be some errors here and there. I’ve given everything a once over, but if you run into any trouble, please let me know.
