The Garden Blooms fingerless mitts are worked in the round with a thumb gusset added in on round 20. The colors are worked in a vertical striping pattern through the thumb gusset and then held for finishing once the mitts are complete. Both mitts are made identical making them easier to complete and interchangeable between hands for even wear. Try your mitts on as you work to make sure they are not too tight. Due to the large scale of the chart, the best way to adjust the size of your mitts is to increase or decrease your needle size. Try one size smaller for mitts that are working up bigger than you need or one needle size larger if your mitts are too tight on the suggested needles.

This pattern is for an adventures beginner or confident knitter. The smaller circumference makes it a tricker project to maintain tension.

This pattern used less than 40g of each shade of Arkansas Yarn Co. Plush DK

Sample shown in Arkansas Yarn Co. Plush DK - All pieces of the Garden Blooms collection can be made from 2 skeins of Wedding Cake and one each of Green, Lemon, Pink and Tiffany Blue

Extra Notions:
A stitch holder or waste yarn is used to hold the thumb gusset stitches while the hand of the mitt is finished.
