To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow
Audrey Hepburn

Skill Level: Intermediate Lace

Skills Needed: Disappearing loop cast-on, picot bind-off, nupps, multi-decreases, short rows, multi-stitches (ex: 7 from 5), beading. (Video tutorial provided.)

Pattern is both written (line by line instructions) and charted (every row) with many changing motifs. Pattern is available with 3 different format styles, all of which include the basic pattern information: 1) integrated - charts are provided alongside written instructions for ease of reference, 2) charts only (with necessary written information), 3) written instructions for each line of knitting.

Notions:

  • 802 Beads size 8/0
    (8 for center motif + 301 for chevron pattern + 478 before the BO + 15 on front/neck band)
  • beading wire/ beading needle for knits / tiny crochet hook that will fit size 8/0 beads (0.75mm)
  • at least 1 stitch marker
  • smooth scrap yarn to hold stitches in waiting
  • needle for weaving ends
  • blocking tools
  • optional: small crochet hook for working nupps. I suggest 2.5mm-3mm.

errata Chart H has an error in row 70. Written instructions are correct. There are 13 repeats of the shaded area and the left side should finish with 3 from 5 followed by a YO, K4, short row turn.
