This pattern is designed to introduce fans of two color brioche knitting to new and interesting configurations of the stitch. Each stage of the pattern includes intricate stitches that shape the leaves, flowers, and the gate of a walled garden with increases, decreases and gathers. The pattern is divided into 7 parts, slowly adding more skills and stitches as you practice each motif. The first stages create the image of vines, climbing a garden wall. at the top of the vines there are flowers, then we see our first bobbles appear in a chevron pattern. soon, the shape of the gate is visible, peeking through the leaves to reveal a striking geometric band of wrought iron bars. in the final stages, more flowers are created, finally ending with a cascade of large flowers.

My favorite part of this design is how the asymmetrical construction looks when worn, with one corner very plain and 2 with lots of texture.
