Wizard & Toad Knitting Pattern
This pattern includes instructions to knit a pocket-sized wizard toy and his derpy toad companion, perfect for Halloween. Both toys are knitted in stocking-stitch on straight needles and the wizard measures approximately 22 cm (8.6 in) to the top of his hat when finished.

Both are worked flat (no knitting in the round needed) and shaping is done with basic increasing and decreasing, making it suitable for knitters with just a little experience. Instructions take you step-by-step through knitting and making up, and are illustrated with colour photographs.

Materials Needed:
Small amounts of any chunky-weight yarn you have in your stash (sample shown in Stylecraft Special Chunky, Paintbox Simply Chunky, and King Cole Big Value Chunky)
Pair of 4.5 mm straight needles
Toy stuffing
Two pairs of 6mm safety eyes (or eyes may be embroidered)
Felt, cotton, sewing needles, and a small length of black DK yarn for finishing details
