Garnet is a cowl that features a row of buttons so that you can easily and quickly secure it around your neck without pulling it over your face. Soft and squishy without being bulky, Garnet is knit in a combination of fine and fingering weight yarn. The nubby texture on the outside is created by a technique called mosaic knitting. Mosaic knitting is considered one of the easiest types of colorwork and is formed using a series of slipped stitches to create the color pattern. This pattern is written for the colorwork novice. All you will need to know to work the mosaic pattern will be provided within the pattern instructions.
