Garnsymfoni means “Yarn Symphony” in Norwegian The poncho is a symphony of different yarns playing together. It is a great opportunity to test a lot of different yarns in one project or use your leftovers.

There is only one adult size, but you can easily adjust it.

Materials:
220-300 grams of brushed alpaca/mohair yarns. Circular needle no 6 & 8 mm/US 10 & 11

Pick different balls of soft mohair and alpaca yarns with a recommended needle size of 5-6 mm/US 8-10 needles in colours that you like. If you think some of the yarns are too thin, hold them double, or with other yarns to get the desired thickness. Use variegated/effect yarns to achieve depth/structure. If you are feeling bold, you can use small leftover yarns and change the colour in the middle of the round.

Tip: Start with a variegated (maybe hand dyed?) yarn and pick solid colours from that.

Gauge:
11 sts twisted ribbing = 10 cm/4 inches with 6 mm/US 10 needles
10 sts stockinette st = About 10 cm/4 inches with 8 mm/US 11 needles

Her kan du bruke opp rester og lage fint fargespill, eller gå rundt i garnbutikken og plukke forskjellige garntyper, så får du testet mange på én gang (Jippi!). Velg farger først og ikke tenk så nøye på tykkelsen. Velg gjerne et flerfarget nøste som du plukker andre farger ut fra.

Ponchoen strikkes ovenfra og ned

Én størrelse (men det er forklart hvordan du kan endre str). Stopp når du synes ponchoen er passe lang.

Lengde på modellene som er vist er ca 65-70 cm
