Garrus is a light summer blouse that was born out of the desire to translate the beautiful intricate cables found in so many knitted pieces, to the neatness of Tunisian crochet. It is an intermediate level pattern not because of the construction - which is very simple - but because the nature of cables makes it so that you’ll have to get used to “dig” a bit for stitches until you get used to that.
Once you get the feel of it though, you’ll never want to stop! :)

What you’ll need:

  • 12 x 50g (~150-170m length) balls of DK yarn, yarn is doubled when crocheting
  • Cabled 5mm / H/8 tunisian crochet hook with an at least 80cm / 31.4 “ long cable
  • Normal 5mm / H/8 crochet hook for the borders
  • Cable needle (spiral one works best but any will do); or secondary hook
  • Blunt needle for weaving in loose ends and sewing
  • Spare contrast yarn for the lacet and 6 beads

Chest circumference: 93 cm / 36”
Underarm length: 42 cm / 16.5”
Length (shoulder to hem line): 66cm / 26”
