I do love a fair-isle hat.

Garry O’ was inspired by the Oak Groves of Vancouver Island. Easily my favourite tree. They house squirrels and eagles with equal grace.

Oaks are a powerful tree. Strong and long living. Here on the Island the Garry Oaks are often twisted and small, shaped by the heavy winds that batter their landscape. But they prevail, growing out of the smallest of cracks in the rocky soil. The acorns they produce are smooth and richly coloured adding texture to the landscape.
