This super-easy, super-quick project is designed specifically with beginner knitters in mind. The bow is made with a simple garter stitch square, gathered simply by tying yarn around the centre. The bow is attached to a garter stitch headband. Tension (gauge) isn’t crucial for this project, as you simply stop knitting the headband once it is long enough to fit around the wearer’s head.

UPDATE March 9, 2020: Upon reviewing this pattern, I noticed that I had incorrectly stated the pattern for gauge/tension as garter stitch when it is actually stocking stitch. Tension, however, is not crucial for this project. I have also corrected a typo in the pattern. The pattern available at the link given is current.
