I am not a fan of sewing together a bunch of different pieces! To this end I have put together a pattern for knitting a garter stitch shamrock / clover / trefoil that involves no seaming.

The leaves are worked from side to side, shaped using short rows, and you can decide how lucky your clover is by changing the number of leaves you work. Once the leaves are complete, you pick up the first stitch to join leaves together, and can add an i-cord. You don’t break the yarn once! Well, until the very end, otherwise how would you weave it in?

Pick up some leftovers, a matching needle, and knit your own luck!
