Now available for purchase as a 2 pattern e-book featuring both the Cable Sun and Sand and the Garter Sun and Sand patterns.

Check out my video of how to wear this. This is knitted in one piece from beginning to end--no ends to weave in. This design is based on the Cable/Lace Sun and Sand Knitalong but uses Garter Stitch to make it more accessible to less experienced knitters. Perfect piece to have as we transition to winter. Shown in colors H26s (turquoise blues with silver) and 919 (pale rust and gold). You will need 2 colors of any Artyarns yarn to join. Since it is worked bottom up, you can make it as large as you like. It is a very shallow triangle that can be left open to wear as a shawl or seamed as a poncho or cowl. The edging is left loopy so that stitches all around are picked up and striping is added in garter stitch around base of shawl.

If you are interested in the pattern and yarn, you can purchase the kit here.

The Knitalong is over for newcomers. However, there is NO DEADLINE FOR COMPLETION. So do not worry if you have started the knitalong, you can finish it at any time.
