Gathering Acorns is a triangular shawl that was inspired by my love of everything about fall. It builds quickly with alternating bands of textured stitches and simple lace and the size is easily adapted to suit your style!

Recommended yarn
Approximately 800 yards of fingering weight yarn

Needle Size
US size 6 circular needle with a 22” or 36” cable.

Finished Measurements
The sample measures just about 80” from tip to tip and 28” from top edge to bottom of point and used the better part of two skeins of fingering weight yarn. You can knit yours as big or small as you like! Just continue the pattern repeats until you like the size that you have or you start to run out of yarn.

Gauge
22 stitches and 30 rows in 4” of stockinette after lightly wet blocking.
