With Gatteville, the stripes of my Mariannière collection return in a soft, plush cardigan, to wear open or fully buttoned, as the mood takes you.

Its round neck, dropped shoulders and comfortable fit give it a relaxed look. The stripes run across the body and the sleeves, while the ribbed bands frame the silhouette. A piece I picture just as well over a dress as with jeans, to keep within reach when the air turns cool.

Knitted with two strands of Bérénice by De Rerum Natura, Gatteville combines the loft of mohair with the softness of silk and merino. It is worked from the top down, without seams, with a recommended ease of 4 in ; 10 cm to leave freedom of movement.

A cardigan to carry on my story of stripes, with the wish to rediscover, season after season, the pleasure of a mariannière.

Avec Gatteville, les rayures de ma collection Mariannière se déclinent dans un cardigan doux et moelleux, à porter ouvert ou entièrement boutonné selon l’envie.

Son encolure ronde, ses épaules tombantes et sa coupe confortable lui donnent une allure décontractée. Les rayures parcourent le corps et les manches, tandis que les bordures en côtes encadrent la silhouette. Une pièce que j’imagine aussi bien sur une robe qu’avec un jean, à garder à portée de main lorsque l’air fraîchit.

Tricoté avec deux brins de Bérénice de De Rerum Natura, Gatteville associe le gonflant du mohair à la douceur de la soie et du mérinos. Il se construit du haut vers le bas, sans couture, avec une aisance recommandée de 10 cm pour laisser de la liberté dans les mouvements.

Un cardigan pour prolonger mon histoire de rayures, avec cette envie de retrouver, au fil des saisons, le plaisir d’une mariannière.
