Fingerless gloves… with Attitude!

These fingerless gloves/mitts are light and soft with just the right touch of warmth for that chilly office or statement outfit. They allow free movement of your fingers while showing off your lace knitting skills!

A simple diamond pattern runs up the back of your hand from glove edge to middle finger while I-cord trim finished the edges on your hand, middle finger and thumb. The body of these gloves are knit in the round in a light rib pattern. Thumb gusset is added for ease of fit and comfort. Each glove measures 7” - 8” in length from the lover edge to middle finger plus the I-cord loop. Each additional repeat of the diamond design adds an inch to the glove length. Photos demonstrate gloves with three diamond repeats before thumb, measuring 8” in length from cast on edge.

Sizing/Gauge: Measure around your hand above your thumb, across your knuckles. This glove has a lot of flexibility and will fit a hand that measures from 6”– 8.5” around. If you are at either end of the measurements, consider changing to one size smaller needle for small hands or one size larger needle for larger hands. Stitch count remains the same.

The PDF pattern includes detailed instructions, charts and written instructions for the lace pattern as well as stitch instructions.
