PATTERN DESCRIPTION
Gavina Scarf is worked flat in one piece, from tip to tip, in 1x1 (double) twisted rib stitch. This reversible stitch looks just as good on the wrong side as it does on the right side.

Gavina Scarf is the perfect unisex evergreen scarf with a twist, as well as the green shade.

The beginning of the scarf is shaped with increases. Once the established width is reached, then comes the body section, worked without increases in a given length (that can be easily modified as you like).
Once preferred body length is reached, a decrease section shapes in a specular way the other side of the scarf until the tip.

Size 5 mm US 8 - 60 cm 24 inch circular needles or 5 mm US 8 straight needles or size to obtain pattern gauge.

The scarf is worked flat (back and forth).

DESCRIZIONE DEL PATTERN

La sciarpa Gavina è lavorata in piano in un unico pezzo, da punta a punta, interamente a coste ritorte 1x1.
Completamente reversibile, appare gradevole sia sul dritto che sul rovescio del lavoro.

Gavina è la perfetta sciarpa unisex e senza tempo (così come la nuance di verde scelta) ma con una marcia in più.

La sciarpa viene inizialmente modellata con gli aumenti a partire da una punta. Al termine della sezione con gli aumenti, inizia quella del corpo, che viene lavorata senza aumenti fino ad una lunghezza data ma che può essere facilmente modificata a piacere.
Una volta che si raggiunge la lunghezza stabilita per il corpo, si inizia una sezione di diminuzioni che modella l’altro lato della sciarpa in maniera speculare alla parte iniziale fino alla punta.
