Gay Crocheted Clown
by Bluey
This pattern is
available for free.
Any child would be thrilled to find this gay clown in her Christmas stocking. The toy is easily and quickly made from wool in a simple crochet stitch. Either the body or head portions could be used separately for soft balls for the baby.
Materials: Half an ounce of blue wool and half an ounce of red (or any two colors preferred), a bone crochet hook size 8, also a ball of white crochet silk, and a steel crochet hook, size 3.
Note from Raveller: No gauge or size is given, but this vintage clown could be worked in any yarn with an appropriately sized hook.
