I had spent some days sketching out potential designs on graph paper. I knew I wanted a simple, easily memorized, colorwork hat that would be, of course, fun to knit. I cast on using new-to-me yarn from my new local yarn shop - The Lamb and Kid!

I used 19.7 grams of Kitten (CC) and 25.4 grams of Fern Gully (MC) for size M hat on 21.5 inch head.

Two skeins of The Lamb and Kid Tod can produce a Grand Forest and a Gazzam hat - depending on gauge and size

Yardage was given for the medium size hat and will differ between sizes and gauge

Small circumference is 15.75 inches (after blocking)

Medium circumference is 17 inches (after blocking)

Large circumference is 18.25 inches (after blocking)

Each size increases by 8 stitches, starting with 96 and ending with 112 stitches. (I prefer tighter fitting hats.) This is an easy pattern to customize for your preferred size and gauge - just add or remove stitches in groups of 8 (1.25 inches after blocking).
