Gee Whiz is a modern log cabin blanket named and influenced by a small rural town in Alabama whose quilt makers have earned national attention. There are two versions of this knitted quilt-like blanket. The first is knit in the beautiful, Spun Cloud yarn by Knit Collage. The yarn is like spun cotton candy- light and fluffy, with a hint of sparkle wrapped around the yarn. The Boho version is knit in Sister by Knit Collage with bursts of Knit Collage’s ripped cotton yarn named Wildflower. Gee Whiz is an expression from childhood to exclaim something beautiful and bright.
