This pattern is available from kulabradesign.com for $6.00.

Silly geese socks to complement Geese mittens. When purchased together with the mittens pattern, this pattern is only $1, no code needed.

The pdf has CHARTS WITHOUT WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS, and won’t be suitable for knitters not familiar with sock knitting. You are expected to know how to knit plain heels (any method will do).

Materials: you will need 2.5mm circular needles, and 80-120g. of fingering-weight sock yarn total for mid-calf socks for most sizes; or about 40-60 g of each color (MC and CC) + small amount of red or yellow / orange for the feet and beaks. You will also need tapestry needle for duplicate stitch embroidery .
Gauge: approximately 30sts X 35rows in 10 cm with fingering-weight yarn.
Size: The socks on the photo are 66sts. around and fit US size 6-8 (or European 36-38); measuring 18 cm long on the foot, and 10.5-11 cm across. The leg part can me made longer by knitting an additional repeat of the geese. The stranded feet part is fixed. The toes in the pattern are all stranded; but you can make them plain, just like on the photo.
