The gem shawl is a cozy and garter stitch shawl featuring a mix of garter stripe short rows and a textured lace border. The long crescent shape allows many ways to style this piece in your wardrobe. Wrap as a scarf, drape over your shoulders as a shawl, and with the length - double up and use a decorative knot to style.

The body of the shawl is knit in garter stitch allowing for a calm and meditative knit, short rows allow the striped extra movement and the texture and lace border uses berry stitch and eyelets for a “wow” finish.

Yarns: Three skeins of fingering weight yarn are needed. One each of the following : speckle or multi color skein, a dark or medium color skein and a medium or light color skein.
