Gemī is inspired by Gems because of the lace shape, Geminis because the duality and reversibility of hat and can be worn inside out and the latin word Gemo which means to be full. Gemi is a double layered hat; a lace layer that covers a stockinette stitch hat in a Sport and/or DK weight yarn so it can be worn in mild to cold weather. The lace creates pops of color (especially with Carpet Bag since the silk gives it a beautiful sheen) or can be done in the same color for a subtle look.
