Gems and Jewels is about playing with color on a canvas of garter stitch and simple lace. You don’t need full skeins to paint, just little gems and jewels that’s already in your stash.

Shawl is asymmetrical triangle, worked from one tip to another with clever shaping. Mostly in garter with short row(no warps) sections of simple lace in-between. Pattern have written instructions and charts for lace segments.

Gauge 19 sts x 40 rows - 4” x 4” on US 6( 4 mm) needles.

Sample shawls — 96” x 36”(blocked), worked in Malabrigo Sock (100% superwash merino, which grows significantly while wet)
