Shawl is crocheted in three sections. First the back wedge panel is stitched, the single crochet stitches are worked up one edge of the panel to form the foundation for one of the lace sections of the shawl. Yarn will be joined at the other edge of the wedge panel to stitch another row of single crochet that serves as the foundation for the second lace section of the shawl.

Blocked gauge done in wedge pattern - 12 dc and 5.5 rows = 4”

In the lace section, Row 4 should be corrected to read as follows:

Row 4: Ch 1, Sc in 1st dc, {Ch 3, Sc in next ch 1 sp} twice, * Ch 3, sk 1st ch 3 sp, V-stitch in next ch 3 sp, Ch 3, skip last ch 3 sp, skip 1st dc on shell, {Sc in next ch 1 sp, Ch 3} 4 times, Sc in next ch 1 sp, repeat from * across to last shell, Ch 3, skip 1st ch 3 sp, V-stitch in next ch 3 sp, Ch 3, skip last ch 3 sp, skip 1st dc on shell, {Sc in next ch 1 sp, Ch 3} twice, Sc in top of turning chain.
