Introduction
My name is Duke and my pronouns are He/Him. I’m a cisgender male gay man.

I created this simple stripe-in-the-round head/neck accessory patterns to show my solidarity with those whose gender identity is marginalized.

I will be donating 80% of sales from this pattern to “My Sistah’s House (MSH)” in Memphis, Tennessee (20% will be used to cover the fees to Ravelry, PayPal, Tech Edit, and Adobe Creative Cloud). MSH provides emergency sheltering, advocacy trainings and health services to Trans community in Memphis.

Colors
3 color schemes have been incorporated for unique gender identification - Transgender, Genderfluid and Nonbinary. These color schemes are commonly used in LGBTQ+ Pride flags.

Each color symbolizes the following:
◊ Red/Pink: Femininity
◊ Blue/Aqua: Masculinity
◊ White: Neutral/undefined gender
◊ Black: Lack of gender
◊ Yellow: Outside of gender reference

Learn more about the symbolism of the colors HERE.

In addition to varying color schemes, 3 types of designs are included:

  2. Neck gaiter (M) 20” / 50cm circumference, 5.5” / 14cm high
