Super soft alpaca combined with a mostly solid pattern makes the Gennie Shawl ideal for cold winter days! The lace adds a touch of style and just enough interest to make the shawl stand out, while keeping to an easy-to-remember two-row repeat.

The Gennie Shawl works perfectly with the Mirasol Paqu Pura yarn. The halo of the alpaca solidifies the side sections to minimize holes, but the center is open enough to be noticeable even with the halo.

Pattern includes detailed written instructions and can easily be made larger or smaller by working extra or fewer repeats. It’s a beginner pattern, using just dc and ch stitches, and it’s best suited to colorways that won’t obscure the lacework.
