DESCRIPTION

The GENTLE LINES TOP is a nice textured summer top and fits as a basic part into any closet. The Top is worked from the bottom up in a simple pattern of stockinette stitch sections alternating with small ribbed stripes combining yarns. For the side vents the back and front are knit flat until they are joined to work in the round and divided again until the start of the armholes. The neckline and the shoulders are shaped with German short rows. The edges are worked with I-Cord. The Top is meant to be worn with 0 - 8 cm of positive ease. The GENTLE LINES TOP is great in both summer wearing solo and as a vest in spring and autumn as a perfect layering piece.

SIZE DIAGRAM NOTE

The garment is calculated to given tension. The correct tension controls both the shape and size of a garment. The size diagram shows the finished garment and its dimensions, so that you can see how much ease there will be for your size. To be extra sure, measure a similar shaped garment and compare it with the size diagram.
