This sweater was a perfect way for my dobie to enjoy the colder months and still feel warm. With his short hair, he could only stay outside for a small period of time. Now with his sweater he can play for longer. He is a large breed dog with a 36 inch chest. From shoulders to the base of his tail is 25 inches. The sweater is 19 inches long and fits comfortably around his chest.

It is made with two strands of worsted weight held together with size 8 size needles. You will need about 750-900 yards to complete this sweater and the following skills.
