This super quick chunky poncho is created using 2 strands of standard 4ply pure wool - it took approximately 800g of yarn.
Written in medium size to fit bust 88-97cm.
Created on a chunky (bulky) gauge knitting machine it requires a maximum of 114 needles.
The main part of the garment is knitted in once piece with cuff and neck welts picked up and knitted later, the bottom of the garment is weighted with a “Pie Crust” finish to minimise fabric rolling.
The geometric pattern is 65sts x 89rows however ANY random pattern or carefully placed stripes or pattern repeats could be used. (Remember a pattern pointing up on the front will be pointing down on the back!)
