A dramatic evening stole in rich jewel colours of gold, peridot, sapphire and amethyst. Pure silk lends movement, flow and luxurious sheen. The striking lace looks wonderful spread out across bare skin where the full effect of the geometric lattice can be appreciated. Can be worn as a shoulder scarf, or it can be worn decoratively around the neck.

You only need ~ 600yds of lace weight yarn. It looks particularly good in variegated colours but would also make a beautiful wedding or bridesmaid shawl.

Once the pattern is set up it is very easy to follow and the only stitches required are chains, double crochets and trebles (Single crochet and double crochet for US readers!) Full written and charted instructions are provided, along with detailed blocking and finishing directions.
