This is a reproduction of an original, but sadly I can’t share the picture due to copyright. While looking on Pinterest and Etsy, I’ve actually seen two purses of this design. So perhaps, it was a published pattern at some point, or I just got lucky and found two.

If this design isn’t to your taste, or seems too intricate, feel free to supplement it with a simpler design. Look on Pinterest, squares that offset each other are just one of many beading styles, or small diamonds. Don’t feel limited! The bottom beading on the rounded side, that creates spikes, was very popular, so you may want to keep that!
