The Georgia on My Mind Shawl was designed in honor of, and named after, my amazing Grandma Georgia. She introduced me to the world of crafting at a young age, and for that I will be forever grateful. Grandma Georgia is an incredible, talented woman who is still a daily inspiration to me!

This shawl is perfect for advanced beginners, or anyone who would enjoy some mindless, squishy garter with a bit of interest! The lace sections on this shawl are quite simple and easy to fly through. These stitches are enjoyable to knit and even more satisfying to see the lovely lacey design being created as you go! With a good blocking, the lace sections really open up and show their true beauty.
.
A fun, fast knit. You can use two coordinating skeins of yarn from your stash, two skeins of the same colorway, or go out on a limb and knit each section with a different color, the choice is yours! This pattern can very easily be modified for a larger shawl, or a smaller shawlette. Use DK weight for a very squishy shawl, perfect for chilly winter days! The fringe adds a bit of pizazz, but it isn’t necessary to make this shawl stunning. It’s beautiful with or without!

Thank you SO much for your support of my designs, it truly means so much to me and my family! I appreciate each of you so very much. Thank you again for choosing this pattern to knit, I hope you enjoy it! Happy Knitting! Hugs, Molly XOXO
