Light enough to toss in your bag for a summer evening, and large enough to wrap yourself in, the Georgian Bay Shawl would also make an elegant shawl for a wedding.

The triangular-shaped shawl is worked in fingering weight yarn from the top down, starting with a Garter tab. The lace pattern for the body transitions into the edging lace pattern before all stitches are bound off. Lace patterns are given in both written and charted form and all WS rows are plain purl rows.
